P1423 & P1411 fault codes after DIY silicone/Recovery sleeve/RXTB
So I installed my second hand RXTB, DIY silicone hose, MAF and home made recovery sleeve last weekend. It ran great (still does) with no CEL until yesterday when it threw these codes.
Bentley says:
P1411 Sec.Air Inj.Sys.,Bank2 Flow too Flow
P1423 Sec.Air Inj.Sys.,Bank1 Flow too Low
Any chance I can reset these and get on with my life?
Are they related to the stuff I did?
If I need to replace vac lines, which ones are they?
As always - Thanks for all your insight,
John
pictures would be GREATLY appreciated

Re: Are you using an o-ring in the MAF sensor opening? 11mm O.D. x 9mm I.D. should help.
If you need an o-ring PM me your address and I can mail you one as I have about 20 of them from when I bought mine.

Re: did you reset your ecu after installation? Was the MAF done by Mance or DIY?
DIY MAF - I'd love to get my hands on a Mance but for now its home made w/ O-ring.
I didn't reset because I got no CEL at the time. Do I need to disconnect the battery for 30 min or just clear the codes?
Thanks for getting back to me so quickly,
John

I do have the O-ring.
It did occur to me though, that I should check and make sure it's still in place. It seems odd that I would run for almost a week before this code so maybe it fell out? I'll have a look.
Thanks,
John

Thanks, I have one in place (I think) and I have 1 or 2 more if not. When I found them I bought extras.
With these sausages I've got for fingers (and the box on top of the dryer workbench), I always buy extras of little stuff.
Thanks, as always you guys are quick, well informed and generous,
John

Yes, you need to disconnect the battery to reset the ECU...
If that doesn't solve your problem, my guess would be that your MAF is getting inconsistent readings/turbulent airflow. Did you leave the "step" in your MAF? And does the MAF part number end in 471A?
