Whats up guys well as the title says i need my Rack and Pinion replaced due to leaking and it leaks so bad that im scared that my pump will sease and srerpentine belt will leave me stranded somewhere...you know the deal. I searched for the DIY found broken links if someone has it saved on their comp and can email it to me at vladf18@gmail.com i would greatly appreciate that.

Also, i need a DIY on how to rebuil the rack and a part number for the Oring seal from the dealer.

should cover the actual replacement of the rack... can't help you with rebuilding it though... but I have heard of rebuild kits. SOmone on the B5 forum mentioned it before iirc.

i did some searching and came up with Oring replacement kit but still dont have the part number...that is the rebuild kit but ppl said the dealer doesnt admit that there is one.

I could pay the $300+ from blauparts for the rack and be done with it no mess/no hassle but i dont want to wait long for it to get here i was planing on doing it this weekend cause its leaking very bad and im scared my pump will cease and everything will go BOOM lol..anyway any more info on the replacement would be appreciated i dont want to cross post this on the B5 forum so plz ask around thanks

didnt you and Dennis( i believe) discuss some sort of fix for the leak..i saw couple posts in the archieve after you replaced yours.
