recoding transmission to sport mode
anyone know what the euro sport code is? I have searched and only found the info for the A8, I have read in the past that it can be done with the A4 auto, I am hoping to find someone with this info thanks.

Re: Right...but the A8 uses a 5 speed tip...I've never seen mention of recoding our tranny
my god I am a weenie... thanks fuzz, I read the model info on the a8 but I guess not closely enought. Tahnks man,.

I think its possible
I accidentally recoded my 96 A6Q once but I think the code I put in was for limp mode (I don't recall where I saw it)
the car ran through the gears like it was drunk and shifted hard, so I put the original code back in.
