Default The main issue with increasing the duration

Isn't necessarily in the high end torque, but at idle, I have heard that anything above 272 on a stock to somewhat modded motor will cause a really rough idle. I am pretty sure MikTip runs Shrick 264's (not 100 percent) so you would probably be better off asking him about his setup.

I have yet to do these mod's but have been researching them for a while now. Your going to be better off asking the guys that have already done this stuff.

As far as loosing some high end torque, well if whatever is lost is replaced below 3,000 (where most people spend their time driving) I would feel comfortable with that.

Default Re: Mods on my 1995 Audi Sport 90 Quattro with 2.8L engine:

Wow, just shows how far I have to go. I'm hoping to perform alot of the mods you have, what do you think your HP/Torque are? How is the low end torque?

Do you know where to find parts from UrS4? I've read alot about Abnormally Aspirated (Mance?) as well and what great parts he makes.

Thanks.

Default All the induction mods are from Mance...

HP estimated at about 200 or so.
Not much change in low end torque.
I can tell the engine breathes easier, especially between shifts.
Mance does work via referral.
Find his email and ask him what he carries.
His products are sensational.
If you are in Southern California, lets get together and I will show you my set-up.
