Default absolutely NO chance! There's been a few but were either sent back or crushed...

of course the rumor mill is rampant with "a friend of a friend has one" kinda thing. And I do know of one that is being duplicated here but was brought over as a standard non-RS avant that is undergoing a VERY meticulous OEM ground-up RS2 conversion/restoration. But be prepared for a $100+k car when completed with a "new" engine, transmission, driveline and suspension and the L-O-N-G list of thousands of other goodies associated with such a project.

Default not much of an RS2 replica if not an Avant ;)

Did you have the 80 Avant in the USA? was thinking not much of an RS2 replica if not an Avant

Was it Audi that decided not to export the S2/RS2 to the USA or was it national regulations that prevented the import of those models?

What i don´t understand here is, you are allowed to build a replica to the exact specification, right?
But you can´t import an original car, doesn´t make sense, really weird...

There were four sedans made on special order, 2 of them went to Saudi Arabia, one to Audis own museum and the last ones destiny is unknown.

This information is confirmed by Audi Region SĂĽd
