Default This Speed Control was on the cover of my Harbor Freight catalog that came today.

This coupled with the inexpensive HF Die Grinder may make a good combo for those on a budget. Says it will work on any brush type motor 15 amps and under. Although the online price is $19.99 it is 12.49 in the catalog. Part # 43060-2RBB

The HF Die Grinder is $39.99 and is part # 44141-1VGA.

Default oh mance... you were right about going into harbor freight.........

It's like sending a fat kid through a candy store. I was in heaven. Place wasn't exactly organized... and had that sorta "warehouse" feel to it... but I did have a good time. Started my brush collection =P They had quite a few packages of those bottle brushes you were speaking of... and other fun odds and ends.

I also saw a tap and die set (standard and metric together) for $50 I might invest in. But later down the road. I'm already spending a lil more than I anticipated cuz of extra tools I bought (not needed but gave me a damn good excuse to get them... and they will be used down the road).

What size tap did you say we needed to use for that barb on the IM? (the straight pipe on the 90s vs. the 90* pipe on the A4s) I remember you telling Mr.D about it, but I can't find the post (damn not having a search!!!)

Thanks,

1/4" NPT. Couldn't find at Home Depot or Sears. Had to go to a plumbing supply store.

Default no... in hind sight I realize I probably should have...

oh well... it'll just take longer... I'm in no rush though since I don't have all the tools needed to start grinding at this thing yet... not to mention I don't have any gaskets yet either.

Hey, the gaskets you got from german auto parts were OEM right? Not aftermarket? I'm gonna start shopping around, but I don't wanna order them if they're not OEM.

THanks!
