Default Testing an MAF....

How is this done? Specs?

Default You'll need VAG-COM or equivalent scan tool to read the air mass flow rate. At wide open throttle,.

mass air flow rate should be 80% of your rated HP. For example, 150 HP x .80 = 120 grams/sec air. To do this, plug VAG-COM into the OBD-II connector (assuming you have '96 or newer car), and then take it out on a freeway and run it wide open in second gear while recording the mass air flow rate. Then check the values recorded. VAG-COM stores its data in CSV files that you can read w/ MS Excel. PLot the air flow vs. RPM - it should be linearly increasing w/ increased RPMs. If not, then your MAF is bad.
