I'm having trouble finding a electrical contact cleaner. This is the closest stuff I could find at Radio Shack. Thanks!

Default UrS4 can't come to the phone right now

I used that stuff from Radios Shack. It seemed to leave some oily residue behind, so I used isopropyl alcohol afterwards to get rid of any residue. I think brake cleaner would work as well or better. By the way, I saw contact cleaner at Kragen today.

I am not familiar with Kragan. Is that an autoparts store? Thanks.

Default Didn't Rocky fight Kragan?

Yes, Kragen is the Radio Shack of autoparts stores, at least out West. You got AutoZone?

Yes, Autozone although I usually go to Advance auto parts. I'll check there. Thanks!

Default After a visit to my local parts store, I decided on this stuff instead....

After reading the backs of the cans the electric parts cleaner seemed a little too harsh.

Default Here's the Radio Shack product I use. But I think what you've chosen is fine...

glad you didn't go with the cleaner/lubricant as it leaves an oil residue.

I don't use the brush that comes with the Radio Shack product on the MAF but I do when cleaning off some less delicate items like circuit boards and solenoids etc.

Radio Shack Electronics Cleaner
