V-Belt or Accesory Belt Broke but I have a dilemma.
#16
I did this a while back. I don't remember the details for the belt I ended up with, though. I got a '97 AFC 2.8 from a forum member, for free, and had to make it work in my '94 90Q. The pulley driven fan was a pain for me to remove but I think I was tired and missed something obvious when removing it. I removed the AC compressor because it was dead and I was already over my budget for the engine swap and didn't want to hold it up any longer. It took me two trips to NAPA to get the right belt. It's WAY shorter than the original setup. I miss the AC but dont drive it that often in the summer to really care. Getting the engine back in was easier w/o the AC compressor in there, too.
