Default Vacuum unit for intake manifold

Long time without posting, but my 12v finally has a problem. I was changing all the emission hoses and went to change the one on said unit, and the hose tore. I cant get the remainder of it out without removing the unit. I can feel the bolts behind but dont know their size. Any help? The part number is 078 133 159A. Thanks.

Pic......

Default OEM came with Torx pan head screws retaining vac diaphram to the IM...

which I always swap out with phillips pan head because I can never remember Torx size to use and Phillips head screws for M4 machine screws is ALWAYS #2 unless a "specialty" fastener is used.

With that said I've also seen IM's where people have swapped out one or both of the diaphram mounting screws with whatever they have lying around. I want to say the bolt size is M4x.7mm (DIN metric coarse) and could be Phillips, hex, allen cap or slot depending on if it's ever been messed with. But Torx was the OEM fastener used as delivered from the factory.

BTW a #11 X-acto blade does allow getting the remnant hose-end off the vac diaphram nipple without diaphram removal. Just insert blade carefully between outer wall ID and hose then lightly rock the cutting edge back/forth with slight downward pressure against the hose until contact is made with the nipple OD. Once cut thru expand the hose all the way around with the X-xacto blade and remove with tweezers/hemostat or very fine point needle-nose pliars.

The "ball-joint" female diaphram linkage socket that slips over the ball on the IM linkage is VERY fragile!! It becomes heat-fatigued, dried out and brittle due to heat and tends to fracture/break when attempting reinstallation on or removal from it's IM switchover linkage ball. If it, or the nipple that the vacuum hose is slipped over on the diaphram breaks your only option is a new diaphram or a replacement from a junkyard.
