to "Industrial Engineering" with an emphasis in Automotive. I want to be Mance when (if) I grow up.
I LOVE working on my computer, and can do so for hours at a time. I wouldn't want to go to work for 8-9 hours sitting in front of a computer screen, then come home and get on the puter again for several hours. Maybe this is the reason I don't have a life other than school and work. (Let alone a woman--ACK!)
Anyways, hope you gotta spare-bedroom, Mance, 'cause I'm movin in and I'm gonna be your padawan learner. I'll pay rent... maybe...

You'd be better off being an ME... but I'm biased =P You would def. mess with a lot more of the stuff that mance is dealing with than as an IE.
And you're right about the infront of a computer all day long business. It gets old fast... but anymore its unavoidable cuz everything is dependent on computers anymore. I know I woulnd't be able to do my work without one.

How in the world did you get into all this stuff as an IE? Just curious.
At Lehigh (my school) the difference in studies between IEs and MEs was night and day. I don't know one of my friends that dealt with laminar/turbulent flow characteristics, viscosity, and whatever other terms I can throw out there. I mean, the IEs had to go through the basic structural classes, electrical classes, etc etc, but never the fluids, heat transfer, systems, elements, dynamics etc etc that the MEs did.
