Default because it's going to require a lot of custom fab work.

and you'll have to go stand alone engine management. Two things that the average person who posts about installing a supercharger isn't capable of.

Maybe I'm wrong and you'll pull it off, but since there is no documented information on this forum about the topic you're going to be writing the book on it. Get writing!

Default hey, if his turbo kit works fine than why wouldnt a centrifugal s/c work on a 12v.....

I searched the forums and some one had asked that awhile ago, but the answer given was"....couldnt be done because........and thats the same reason there are no turbo kits for a 12v."

well, there is someone who has a turbo for his 12v so why couldnt you have a centrifigal(sp?) s/c?

Default Define a 'good' HP boost?

you can irk some more power out of the 12v, but if you're looking for big gains similar to a supercharger, buy an Audi that has a turbo.

Default You can have one, there is one on ebay right now actually. most s/c have to be side mounted on our

engine, so it just hangs off the side of the engine on the passenger side with custom brackets, I forget the person's name who had it, he posted on the a4 b5 forum a couple times.

The one on ebay was from a guy with a silver car with carbon fiber hood.
