I HAVE seen the show a few times, but am not an avid watcher. I have better things to do. I like his show. I NEVER said it was a racist show. I said it was "The most racially sensitive show on television" sarcastically, MEANING that it isn't racially sensitive--but not racist. I think it's funny how he makes fun of the KKK & the racist mentality. If you thought that I meant that his show was racist, then you completely misunderstood me. I can't believe I'm even explaining this.
However, it strikes me oddly that the popular definition of a racist in the U.S. today is almost always directly associated with a white person, mainly a blonde-haired, blue-eyed male. What that means is that I was a racist as soon as I popped out of the womb in the eyes of all that believe this mentatlity. THAT sounds kind of um, what's the proper word..........oh yeah, racist. Ironic. I think that people forget that racism is a two way street. It's not a black, white, latin, asian, etc. thing, it's an individual person's thing. I'm not racist, I hate everyone equally.
Seriously though, I DO judge people. I judge EVERYONE. I judge everyone by one characteristic only: attitude. I don't care what ethnicity anyone is, if they have a bad attitude I don't like them. I have people in my own family that I don't like because of their attitude. And amazingly, they're the same ethnicity as me.
All people have prejudices. When people buy a dog, what do they prefer most? An AKC registered one. Why? Mainly because they are full-blooded, from one breed only, not mixed. That is a prejudice. What matters is what people do with it. Prejudice against a whole ethnicity is stupid, because it mentally shuts off any positive aspects that may change that individual's perception on a plethora of things.
I'm not attacking Dave Chapelle, his show, or anyone. It was a remark spoken w/ a grain of salt that should've been perceived in a like manner. I'm sure that everyone in this forum that participates daily & knows me, completely understands that it was a joke. Why you chose my post as the first one to respond to in days makes me suspicious.

And Jesus didn't have a middle initial. I'll take Mr.D's word for it that it's part of the show. Obivously, I'm the foolish one this time. I'll just go shoot myself now.

You're taking humor a bit seriously. Yes, I agree with you that Chappelle plays on a lot of sensitive racial issues. I disagree vehemently with a lot of what he tries to make veiled social commentary about, notably the concept of "reparations" for slavery. On the other hand, I think a lot of his show is uproariously funny. Take the good with the bad. I certainly didn't mean to start an argument with you, and hopefully Mr. D was able to convince you it's simply a quotation from one of Chappelle's impressions.
