I love the smell of oil in the morning.

told me that I should be running a better oil, probably because I had a valve cover leak that made it appear I consumed too much, like 4 qts. every 8k. Now the leak's fixed and I'm using around 1/3 qt every 1500 miles. I have pondered going to Rotella T synthetic since it's a lot cheaper than M1 but I do think Mobil is good stuff. By the way, the oil Terry Dyson suggested was some super-expensive synthetic at around $8 a quart, no thanks. Maybe he's their rep....?

What are you guys paying for your M1 and where do you buy it?

$22 for a gallon at Walmart. They used to sell it as a 5qt jug for the same price, bastards.
