Default this really isn't research...

With about 5 minutes of searching the archives anyone could tell you that.

Try finding the part number for the remote in the archives. Try finding a picture of it on the A4 B5 boards(the pic is only on the A6 board). Not research? Then why did I have to email Clair to get the part number, then call my dealer to get the price on it.
I'll tell you whats not research, your pointless comments are not research and don't help anyone.

Default all I am saying is...

If the people who are buying the wrong remotes had bothered to research which remote to get, there would be no problem. I too initially had no idea which remote I could use. Having a 97 it became confusing because I can use the older seperate remote, or the new switchblade. But all my answers were found in the archives. All I'm trying to tell you is that this has been covered time and time again.

Default Re: all I am saying is...

Except for the fact that there were no pictures and part numbers for the 96 remote, so I hardly think it was covered, at least to my satisfaction.
I did my research and was one of the ones who ordered the correct remote for my 96. I posted this info so other 96 people could find at least one post with everything in it that would steer them in the right direction. Granted there are a bazillion posts about the 96 remote, and the tech article is relatively informative. Find me a post besides mine though that has the part number, there simply isnt one. So to say it's been covered is not completely true. If the part number was in there somewhere before, I would have found it, if I had found it then, I would not have posted this thread.
