Hello everyone.
new to the forum.
We are slightly stuck with one of our car, Audi Q5 2.0 TFSI. We rebuilt the engine as we had to replace the pistons. We replaced the timing chain, including the guides etc. After putting the engine back in and started the car, we got P01600 Fault Code for Camshaft - Crankshaft Correlation.
We were quite confident that the timing we did was all good. So we went ahead and replaced the solenoid but the fault code remained.
We then went ahead opened the timing covers and did the timing all over again then started the car, the problem remained. We have also replaced the Camshaft / Crankshaft Sensors but no luck.
the car also starts very sluggishly.
Tried searching on internet but cannot find any solution.
wondering if anyone on this forum may have encountered a similar problem, please let me know how you may have resolved it .
any input will be much appreciated. Thanks

One of the big gotchas on doing this timing job is making sure the crankshaft chain sprocket actually sits onto the crankshaft correctly. If it's shifted one indent and then you time the engine to the triangle marks, you'd be off.
People have also had issues with the cam sprockets on the cam shafts rotating.
So lots of strange possibilities. Possibly useful video: youtu.be/B-nQ9nj-C0M
