I am new with audi's, recently brought a new b7 and saw that Forge have a new diverter valve for it, vag approved, i was wondering if anyone has one already installed and how loud is the sound.

with stock airbox i didn't hear a differance...install was pretty straight foward, i ended up breaking a nipple on a seneloid (oops) so the install took two days cause i had to wait for my dealer to get a replacement seneloid. But intall is very straight foward.

i think i know what you mean...it's like as if the sound comes and goes but at a fast past right? if so that's normal
yeah i agree with space....it's deff not a easy spot for large hands

i just installed mine not impressed at the sound. you cant hear it in the car at all with the radio on low( has to be off)
i work for audi so when i was at work i tapped the holes so i could put screws in it and i tried the sound with one hole open ( sounded liek a sneeze) then i tried with 3 holes open ( was louder ) then i went and took all them out and it was loud when i was at a standstill buton the run it wasnt loud at all
so tomorrow at work im going to put back in the 3 screws and try it out!! hopefully it will be better if not im going to make a bigger hole and put a horn on it like a regular BOV and ill report back to you guys ( i also weld so i can weld the horn on)
then ill put a duck caller to it so when i shift it goes QUACK!
