Broken rocker arm - how to replace?

Hey everyone! I tried looking around the webs but couldn't find much about rocker arms. I have a 2007 B7 A4 Quattro, and after a long time of misfires and head scratches, the truth has finally come out: I had a defective rocker arm that finally got busted and broke off from the spring. I bought a replacement, but have no idea how it actually goes on and what the steps are. Does the camshaft need to come out or can be done with the cam still in? How does the rocker arm get secured? Any special tools needed?
All help appreciated. Thank you!

please let know if you were able to fix it as I'm dealing with the same issue and I do not want to take it to a shop that's going to over charge me and not fix it right.
