engine would not start

engine would not start
HI,
My wife recently just got a 2012 audi q5 2.0t premium plus. When the car arrived via a container we found out that the customs guys left the ignition on and the car was dead. We rolled it down and eventually jump started it, allowed it to run for about 20mins then switched off. did a test start and it cranked fine.
later we tried moving the car and it would not crank,jumpstarting did not work. We even put a new battery and it would not crank. All the dash board tells us is EPC and check engine light flashing when you hit the start button. Also a faint clicking sound can be heard in the engine area when you press the start button.
Right now we are confused as we are in far away africa and you ant just drive to your local dealer.

If its that new, giving AUDI a call shouldn't be a problem the car should be under full warranty. Even if it eats up time atleats it'll garunty that your problem'll be fixed.
I guess you could try yourself though..
First before ANYTHING, wheres the click sound? from the motor?
Cars come with IMMOBILISERS perhaps the alarm is still active? Pull out the FUSE for the immob. alarm etc. test again.
Ofcourse while your there it wouldnt hurt to check all the fuses one by one. Does it even look distorted? change it anyway!
You could also try unplugging the ECU for a day, then hooking it back up. Maybe it'll wake up to itself?
New to AUDI's here so.. cant really help you model specifically just telling you the first things you should try.
ofcourse above all those checks is warranty.
