EA888 ECM is UDS, there are no blocks, just values. Advanced Measuring Values. Was that video specifically of a CAEB engine? If not, it's not informative. I would never seafoam my engine if I needed to count on it still working on the other side.
If you have VCDS, bring up Adv Meas Val in 01-engine and just search for trim or long, they'll come up in the search window. Same for air mass.

I am getting close to the reading you have mentioned above for MAF, does this mean my MAF is good?
For long term mix fuel trim, I was able to get the following from Advanced measuring values:
Long term adaptation of mixture formation bank 1, -1.6%
Long-term fuel trim bank 1 at idle, -0.23%
Not sure what these means and if they are normal.

You get codes when long term idle exceeds ±5%, and when long term mix (ie, under load) exceeds ±25%. So your values are very good.
I had a progressively more positive long term mix develop over several years. MPG reduction tracked directly with long term mix increase. Finally replaced my injectors and that generally resolved the situation.
But as your trims seem fine, and your g/s range seems fine, might not be something in the engine. mpg reflects the entire vehicle operation; air resistance, tire rolling resistance, drivetrain efficiency, suspension operation, etc.

Thanks for all the help by the way. and yeah, I am actually not too concerned about the mpg but the misfires bother me. Will change the coils and injectors and see if it gets rid of the misfires. Might change the inline fuel filter as well.
Also my fuel gauge is kind of weird, it's very accurate when it's full or near empty but not so much in between. I read somewhere about fuel tank getting distorted due to bad evap canister and I was wondering about this might be the case.

There is no inline fuel filter on the FSI engines for B8; that's only on the TDI engines. There is the fuel filter on the in-tank pump.

A DTC is only present if the programmed algorithms flag an errant condition. There are some algorithms monitoring the lambda sensor, but there are very likely ways in which the sensor can perform poorly or incorrectly and not trip one of those specific monitors.
