so in these pictures are an open ended circle this piece will pop out causing a vacuum leak it has a plastic rod attached to it going into the bell shaped piece in the picture. I need help finding out what this part is called and how I can fix it. When it pops out I can spin and it will pop back in and everything runs fine for a short time and then it pops out again randomly. Any info or advice is greatly appreciated in advance.

Intake manifold broke, you need a new one. Common on EA888 Gen1/2 early years. That looks like a Bosch rather than Hitachi HPFP; this is a 1.8T? What's the code for that engine from the sticker on the upper timing cover?
While I was waiting to get a new one, I made a bracket I clamped to the engine lift eye that blocked the actuator arm from moving out of the IM. You might be able to rig up something as well.

Ok, but it's a transverse 2.0T, so that uses Bosch as well. CCTA engine? Lucky you, you get to go for the still cheap BH rev instead of the excessively priced AT rev for the longitudinal.
Is that the original rev AD intake manifold on it? You could try the repair kit from ECS: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...021071ecs01~a/
Or just buy a new intake manifold, now rev BH: https://www.genuineaudiparts.com/oem...ld-06j133201bh (or whatever place, FCP Euro was a lot more, $330; I'd only go Audi OE for that thing).

Okay so I have a vacuum leak, that's were my problems started... however I discovered after buying my car that after shutting off my v car the fans would come on and start on so my ol man would pull the negative terminal on the battery so they would stay on because they wouldn't shut off. Well I did that for a couple of days until we found the fuse to pull which made it easier. Yesterday I got in it and drove it to my daughter's while it was raining and the traction control light and the EPC light came on and it would lose power and wasn't shifting right. I stopped driving it until the rain stopped and it drove fine again until today when out of no where it lost all power and died. I then had my ol man look at it and he got it started and back to the house and it ran like it never had a problem but when I got it home it wouldn't stay started and will not start. I did not know you weren't supposed to unhook the battery in these cars... can anyone tell me if I may need to go have it reprogrammed and how much that may cost??

What year is your car and do you get any messages when the car doesn't start. Using OBDeleven or VCDS to get any error codes would better help identify the problem as there are many reasons as to why a car will not start.

Sounds like you're having disparate issues; you need to assess each individually until actual diagnosis combines them at some common cause. EPC, I'd say run a scan while the engine was still running; EPC issues often reset themselves each engine off.
Your fans coming on and staying on seems odd, if they didn't go back off within 15 minutes. But they stopped doing that after the flash for the oil consumption PCV change.
No start, that's a very broad problem statement. Will it not crank, or will it not fire up? There's no reason you should be assuming you need to do anything with the ECM, unless the diagnosis of actual data comes back to that. You could let the ECM sit on a shelf for a year and it would be fine to just slot back in and fire up, unless it had other issues.
