My Breather Hose Assembly on my 2.7t is all broken up. Will this cause a Boost leak?
I have put the pressure tester at the Intake Tube and then pressurized it to 15PSI. if I block the Hole on the Intake that leads to the Breather Hoses then it holds the 15psi of course if I let it go then all the pressure comes out.
And I'm wondering cause before it held the 17PSI boost now I mainly see 6-9psi, I just seen 11psi a couple days ago.
160K miles on it. I just bought this A6 2wks ago.
Thanks in advance

Broken sections in the crankcase breather "spider assembly" should not
cause boost leaks unless the non return valve near the intake manifold
(which is just down stream of the throttle body) is defective or the hose from the non return valve to the intake manifold is leaking. All of the other breather connections are into non pressurized area of the 2.7l biturbo. Page number 28
of the 2.7l V6 Biturbo self study Program no. 992903 has a schematic that illustrates the crank case breather system. The N75 wastegate regulator valve is always a suspect for boost leaks but there are lots of others as well.

Yea all the hoses from that assembly are broken so non return valve is also broken.
So I'm going to assume thats the problem. I will order that Spider Assembly and see what happens after that. I just noticed it like this.
I was told it had a boost leak but the owner didn't know what it was. I think its that. I will put it through another pressure test after I place that assembly back on there.
