109k here, but one is leaking oil and the are pretty loud... BUT STILL RINNIN STRONG!!!

Geese... Did I post this one yet!!! GIAC tuned since 90k, at 142k now, still original turbos! And, I'm not a slow driver. I have been sure to do other maintenance items, regular tune-up stuff and I've drained and fill trans fluid at least twice since 04. Still running strong.

Turbo Noise??

2001 Allroad less than 60,000 miles. Turbo noise present. Worried if engine dies if one or both turbos let go. Has this happened to anyone out there? A $6,000.00 fix for turbos is bad enough but an engine too would put it in the yard. Sadly, the car looks and still smells new inside.

Any thoughts or reflections?

122,000KM and chipped since i bought it with 40,000km on it

i drive spirted once a day at least and let it always warm up/cool down

change my oil every 5000km with synthetic

recently installed RS4 ICs and each stock IC spit out about a mouthful of oil so nothing crazy..

still counting too haha

My car has 79k and the K03s just went. I chipped the car almost 2 years ago, and now I'm putting in some more K03s. Not ready to make the leap to K04s yet. The K03s given to me by a friend who upgraded his at about 20k. Saved me a bundle. Just need a tip on the quickest way to swap the turbos. Doing this in the next 7 hours.

I installed the thermo switch about 2 years ago...but what's the turbo timer?? What's it do?
