Default Q5, Audi hitch, Thule T2 rack together at last (BWW)

Finally got all this stuff together and out for for a ride this weekend. Thule rack is awesome and we're looking forward to many fun expeditions. Here's some photos:

So what do you do if you want to open the back?

Good point!

to originator: It looks real good, but are you concerned about brake & tail-light visibility?

Yeah, def thought of this. I mentioned to my wife while we were out that I was surprised the Thule didn't at least have some reflectors on the back. I wasn't so much worried about the lights being visible as I am bringing people's attention to the fact that it sticks so far back. Seems easy enough to remedy. Trailer light would be even better - I'll have to investigate. It would be nice to take full advantage of the 7-pin connector since it's there and we CERTAINLY paid for it!

The rack has another position built in that allows it to tilt further towards the ground from the loaded position. Forgot to actually try this out on the first trip - we just loaded what we had to put in the back by folding a backseat down for access to the cargo area. I'll check out the tilt feature next time out.
