Default I need to buy tires today for 20 inch rims

I picked up these rims yesterday. They have a machined front with gunmetal inside.

So I’m looking to buy the Yokohama Parada 275/45R-20 XL or the 295/45R-20 XL. This is my wife's car so having a little more sidewall is a good idea. My main concern is if they will run on a Q7 without the air suspension?

I spent 2 hours here last night looking through threads and found several who used this size with success but could not determine if they had any rubbing issues or if they had air suspension.

I”m not worried about 2-5 MPH off on the speedo.

Please confirm if you are running the 295/45/20 and if you are happy with it. Tread life etc.

Thanks in advance.

I also found the Hankook Ventus ST RH06 in 295/45R-20 114V XL. They have a 50k warranty.

Yes, I am running the Yokohama Parada Spec X in the 295/45/20 and no issues at all(stock 20 inch wheels). It looks great, rides fantastic and a little better sidewall protection..On for about 6 months now..I would never go back to the 275/45 R20..Even if my gas mileage is suffering slightly and the speedo/odometer is off a little...very, very happy...

The center caps are off so I can re torque in 50 miles. I’m very happy. I think they look great. The wheels kept an Audi look while making the Q7 look racy with out being over done.

These are the Yoka 295/45/20 tires. Thanks for the help.

I've been using these on our '08 with 20" wheels and they are fantastic. I get 60k km on a set. About to buy 3rd set for the car.

:-)

What kind of mileage hit did you take going to 295/45-20 tires? How quiet are these tires?

Honestly, I can say I did not notice any difference(but then again I never really did check it),... but you would expect more rubber on the ground to marginally increase your rolling resistence and decrease your fuel mileage(at least according to the engineers).I find them to be very quiet.... but as quiet as can be expected for the width of rubber on the ground, and comparing them only to a set of 275/45 R20 Yokohama Parada Spec X which were about 85-95 percent worn(and I found to be quite noisy). There may be quieter tires out there... but these are quiet enough for me...I love these tires...D
