Default 2.8 30V what oil?

im using 5w-30 valvoline dino oil which seems to go well with my car and wallet...but i was wondering, im at 112,500 miles and i was wondering if switching to synthetic oil will be a better idea. i do some highway driving, i get on it every now and then, cross town driving, winters are 50 degrees and down, summers are 80 and up (very muggy) so i am asking should i stick to dino oil or switch to synthetic, (i dont mind the extra cost, just wanting the better for my car)

Personally, I've always used synthetic. 98 at 137,000.

Default Re: SYnthetic everytime

In my 99 2.8 Q I first used regular castrol 10w30 for 1st oil change. After I always used synthetic 10w40 (the purple sh$t). My car just feels healthier when I run it and the cost isn't too bad (my mechanic links me up at cost price). Other wise your looking at about $45 cdn for 4L.
