3391 and 3242 Dimensions

Hi, I am replacing the head gaskets on a '96 2.8 V6 30V engine (code ACK) and thought it would probably be a good idea to use the timing tools required to lock the crankshaft and cams in the right place, namely 3391 for the camshafts and 3242 for the crankshaft.
Looking at the tools, both look pretty simple and I can't help but think I could just make them up myself! I have access to a lathe for 3241 and to the tools I reckon would be needed for 3391 (very few of them by the look of it!).
My question is this: Does anybody have the dimensions of the two tools in question? I have scoured the web and have been unable to find any details of them! Very frustrating for things that look so simple!
Cheers,
Andy
ps At the same time as doing the head gaskets, I am also doing the timing belt, water pump, thermostat, valve stem seals and lapping the valves. Any other recommendations of stuff I should do while I have the heads off and open? Thanks again!
