Default Cat or O2 sensor
I just finished replacing the Bank 2 cat converter for my 2003 A6 3.0 . Costed me a bomb (950$).. and now its giving me the following codes.

P0153 - Oxygen Sensor
Circuit Slow Response (Bank2, Sensor1)

P0431 - Warm Up Catalyst Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2)

Any idea why this is happening

Default not totally sure about the 3.0, thats right for the 2.8, so would assume they are the same.
but i would just replace both fronts ones. better to do them in pairs

Thanks quattrokiwi! and my mechanic told me that you have to lower the trany to access the sensors. Is that right?

Default sorry, not sure about that, i have a 2.8 and can access them from top.
you might ask your A6 forum that.

No! ive never done b2s1 but i have done b1s1. its a friggen bear to get to it but it can be done.

I forgot to update this thread. I finally changed the B2S2.. It was accessible from top but yeah it was tough to reach..
