Default clutch time.. someone talk me through which path to take..

first things first i have the shop that I am going to have do the work for me, so thats one of the big things to get out of the way. now the hard part is deciding on the clutch for me. i am not so much about the brand of the clutch althought im not looking for an ebay clutch. i want something a little bit more fun to drive than a stock clutch, and dont wnat to purchase the overly priced SPORT clutch that audi offers as a replacement. i am HOPEING.... keyword HOPE to put a little more juice in her one day and would like to get the clutch iw ould need to do that now than have to get it done all over again when and if that time comes. as far as the flywheel is concerned lightweight would be nice but might be out of the price range. all said and done im thinkin around 2500-3000 in price is my limit. what are my options? manufacturers? stages? i want something i can drive and not have to worry about my leg pumping up, but than again would like it to be able to give me a good launch in a day at the 1/4 mile track. any help would be greatly appreciated. im going on 135k on a stock clutch so the time is coming VERY soon. thanx Josh

I like the stock flywheel on these cars ,though I would go for a lighter clutch set-up(which I'm doing now along with a new flywheel, result of bad trans imput seal). Since our car is just a daily beater, I don't want the drivability problems of the lightweight flywheels(stalling).
Frankly, driven properly, the stock clutches are fairly robust. Sachs makes a sport clutch kit.
