Carbino. You won't see gains to make it worthwhile though. Just leave it stock.

I see meaningful gains with my BMC CDA.

Default Have you ever had an aftermarket intake on your c5 or are you just the typical

rookie talking without having any real experience?

Default Yep, typically there are no hard #s to back them up, just 'sounds' faster...

However if you do something like a bored out MAF, then you can see some increases. But I don't know of one for the 3.0.

eBay purchase of "Air Intake System"

After my order was placed and shipped I was soon to realize after I assembled the air intake that I was not going to use the
"after market" tubing. I ended up bolting the new AEM DryFlow air filter to the stock MAF and then to the stock air tubing.

This is a picture of the stock MAF and the stock air tubing attached with
the 3" adapter from the eBay custom air intake kit.

Picture of the cone shipped with the eBay custom air intake kit and the cone I purchased
from AEM. I would highly advise getting a AEM DryFlow over any filter especially over
K&N. I actually ordered a 1/2" too big AEM DryFlow Filter, but I cramped it on there so
tight that it worked out to my advantage anyways. FYI: if you are going to buy the
AEM DryFlow cone the 3" x 9" one is the one that will fit exactly.
Part number: 21-2039DK. I purchased through Summit Racing online. (www.summitracing.com)
I have dealt with them in the past and they are a very reputable company and
I have enjoyed doing business with them. I highly advise purchasing through them if
you choose the online dealer route.
