Hi all, just wanted to check out the best way to replace my coolant. I took a bottom hose off and I figure it emptied itself but then when I filled it back up it it has only taken 3 liters....So i figure must be an airlock cos the book says 9 liters but I'm waiting and the level in the tank aint dropping but I'm a bit nervous about driving it in case I cook it or something. How can I purge the system and make sure that its full of coolant?

If you open it and open the coolant reservoir cap most of the coolant should drain.
