Default level of power steering fluid

I bought A4 couple weeks ago and now I found there's some PS fluid leak from low pressure PS line. So I'm gonna flush it as soon as I get new hose and fluid..

btw I checked level of ps fluid and it seems like just a little below max in the morning. Well I don't have an owner's manual, so anyone knows what level of fluid is normal..

I pulled out level-gauge stick from the reservoir and wiped out the fluid on stick, and then put it back in the reservoir all the way the thread in. then I pull the stick back out to read the level.
Is this right procedure? I don't know why the reservoir doesn't have a scale mark on the outside.

Thanks in advance!

Default Just keep the PS fluid level between MIN - MAX on the stick. I keep mine as close to MAX as possible

I just overfilled a little the other day at the gas station and had to wick some out with paper towel.
