2.8L 30V

Where is the sensor for oil temperature located?

would also like to know, i get no oil temp readings and think its the sensor

Default The only sensor I recall seeing is in the top of the upper oil pan above where the oil filter is
I thought that was the oil pressure sensor but maybe it's oil temp, not sure.

Default Would that be the cause of a faulty oil guage?
It used to work, but then i recently noticed that it stopped working and id like to get it fixed.

vag it and see if the vag returns correct readings. If it does it's your gauge, else it's the sensor

The sensor on the oil filter housing is the oil pressure.

Default oil filter housing? The oil filter screws in to the oil cooler, which in turn screws into the upper
oil pan. I don't recall there being any sensors around there.
