I never liked using anything on a new rubber valve cover gasket but I guess this gasket needed it. I put some Felpro gasket sealer on the corners of the valve covers and gasket, where the flat part of the gasked changes to the ribbed part.
The leak is fixed...
Now on to the noisy front wheel bearings.

I've got a set sitting in my room waiting to be installed, but I'd like a detailed walk-through before breaking out my tools...

Just be careful with the PVC tubing, when you move it out of the way. It's very britle and costs about $75 to replace.
Another note, use some carb cleaner to get both surfaces clean and oil free. And double check the corners, where it changes from flat to ribbed, for old gasket sealer.
