Good evening,
I am looking at 2013 A4 Premium Plus Quattro w/80,225 miles. They are asking $15,000 for it. It has spent some time in the eastern US (New Jersey). They use quite a bit of brine on the roads in the winter. My question is on a ‘13 how well do you think the frame has held up during all of that brine time?

No it’s actually here in KS, test drove it yesterday. Drives GREAT, looks GREAT, however I wasn’t able to look at the underside and was just curious with it coming from the east coast. You guys out there get much more snow and ice than we do here!

Also, this will be my first Audi, any issues that I should look for. I had a 2013 VW CC w/a 6 speed manual and same engine! LOVED that car. But I think I could love this one the same!

You won't really care about the time in saltville until you need to do any work on the control arms, dampers, or wheel bearings. The frame will be fine, the steel bolts and elements in that aluminum wheel bearing housing, much less fun. But I wouldn't pass up a vehicle over that. Just means the pinch bolt won't pop out with a tap like a southern kept one. But no reason to lift it and inspect the rear subframe; I assume if there's any frame rusting, it'll show up there first. Who knows, any used vehicle could have anything about it going on, so you still want to be able to look it over.

You have two old an Audi Quattro to live in Connecticut or you just won’t fit in with the Joneses and every single one takes winter on the chin and looks fantastic in the summer. There’s some old Audis up there for sale check out their classifieds on craigslist you’ll be surprised.

Hi All,
Brand new to the forum and new to the US, coming from the UK.
I have the possibility to purchase a 2013 A4 Allroad, but the turbo is leaking oil into the charge tube. I was quoted $4780, all in, for a replacement turbo. Does that sound about right?
WIth known issues on oil consumption for higher mileage Allroads, anyone found that their oil consumption improved if they had to replace the turbo?
Cheers
