Hello - I have been an occasional poster here on the audiworld boards for many years, from when I was organizing a large VW/Audi get together here in S. Florida...I've had a run of VWs (00 Passat, 03 W8 wagon, 07 VR6 4motion wagon, 13 CC VR6 4motion exec), and have just purchased my first Audi this past weekend, a new 2015 allroad Premium Plus w/sport & tech package, in Mythos black w/black interior. Love the car:






I've mostly spent the week commuting and working, so I haven't even had the time to go deep into car settings, MMI settings, or even set most of my radio station presets - so still have a lot of reading and setting up to do.

My first questions which I'm hoping some on the forum might know the answers to...
- Does anyone know where I can buy the S4/5 style brushed aluminum mirror caps, WITH the side assist cutout? I searched forums and various parts sites, and the closest I can find are the B8 versions without side assist. I'd really like to keep some of the chrome highlight bits on the car, and add these mirrors.

- I've seen replacement grille ideas such as swapping out the S4 and RS4 style grills...however I actually always liked the vertical bar style of the allroad's grille. The one thing I thought might look better, especially with a black car, would be to either paint or wrap the grey horizontal bumper section in the grille to black, to better hide and match the car. Has anyone tried this yet? I couldn't find any photos in searching for anyone who might have tried this mod.

Thanks for the parts link. I was sort of hoping to find them on the market, maybe someone who swapped theirs off, or any aftermarket makers who might have them. The cost from Audi directly is a bit steep for a mellow mod.

Finally got my Sirius acct moved from my other car, picking up after the 3mo free trial, plus the 4 years free Traffic.

Thursday I'm getting the two front windows tinted to match out the rears.

Beautiful. We got the same in white, now wondering if Mythos (or even grey) would have been even nicer.

If you do replace the grill, I'd love to be the one who takes the front license plate blank off your hands! PM me if that is ever the case.

I'm almost certain my 2013 Allroad has red rear turn signals. Anybody know when the change to ambers happened?

U.S. allroads have always had RED turn signals. The ROW gets the amber action. You can buy those lights and install them, but you'll need to change the coding with a VAGCom.

The allroad grill is uniquely shaped and can not be swapped with any other model's grill. Alternate color grills you've seen are painted or plastidip jobs.
