Are you talking about the aspherical mirror that RoW cars have on their driver's side, perhaps? As far as I know, in all markets the passenger-side glass is convex.

I see the 8W A4's in europe have the aspherical (blind spot) mirrors, so they exist. If you want to order them I can hit up my UK parts guy for part numbers.

I have a complete set of mirror glass for sale. Left side is aspherical, heated, auto-dimming and right side is convex, heated, auto-dimming. $400. PM for details.
EDIT: I updated the right side to indicate it is heated. Standard feature.

They are around, and worth the trouble. My US Q8 driver's side flat mirror came out easily, wires swapped easily, and new aspheric mirror in, in ten minutes. First time. I have used this aspheric mirror in RoW and find it useful and safer.
Ironic: Mine is OEM, ordered it from Europe and it was made in USA. Worthwhile improvement. Wonder why NHTSA doesn't encourage such things? Matrix lighting especially? It's simply better.
For what it's worth, aspheric is not convex, and driver's side convex might be dangerous for US drivers accustomed to flat mirrors. Much of an aspheric mirror has customer flat area, simply bends out a bit to offer better blind spot viewing.

Did anyone find a source for these mirrors?
I have them on my Mk6 GTI from ECS, actually did both mirrors, and can see the whole highway. Picking up a B9 Allroad tomorrow, and would love to get the mirrors.
