No apologies need at all. I can tell you that if a good body shop is used, it would be almost impossible to see the damage.

In this situation, the tiny bit of good news is that it's brand new and the paint hasn't faded so matching the color should be straight forward. Still it's a disappointing way to start a new car relationship.
