It comes with 2-sided tape pre-installed on the underside of the guard. Just peel and apply. I installed a similar guard on my 2013 A3 Sportback and it stayed perfectly affixed until I sold the car earlier this year when I got the A4 allroad.
Just placed an order for a rear bumper guard from New German Performance for my 2024 A4 allroad. Had been on the hunt for awhile now as I’m always loading something into the rear cargo area and want to prevent a careless scratch to the painted rear bumper cover.
Will post a picture once received and installed if others are interested.

That’s the one I installed on my 2024 allroad. Pictures above in this thread on the Solar Orange allroad.
I ordered one for my Allroad and received a notice that they are once again out of stock and are unsure when they will have more.
Unfortunately I received an email earlier today stating the rear bumper guard is not currently in stock even though the website indicated it was presently in stock when I ordered it a couple days back.
Disappointed but it is what it is.
