Is there a tool or source for generating a build sheet for our cars?

In my case, and I suspect the same for @142 guy , it was an email message to Audi Canada with my VIN. You should send something similar to Audi USA. The sticker in the wheel well or maintenance booklet has some PR codes shown but the info I got back from Audi had a lot of addtional codes.

Thanks! I was hoping there was an online tool to generate one like there is for my Ram truck.

Just today I contacted Audi USA and asked this very question. They referred me back to the dealership where I ordered my car. I emailed the salesman I’m working with and he replied with a copy of the “Vehicle Details” sheet which is a one page document that shows the specifics of the car I ordered (trim level, exterior/interior color) including the optional packages I requested (Black Optics & Warm Weather) when I ordered the car.
Not sure if this will work since you already have your car but might be worth a shot.

Sales rep sent a copy of the window sticker, not the build sheet LOL. No worries though. I found the cargo net in it's spot just forward of the cargo cover so it's all good. I haven't removed the cargo cover since buying the car a couple weeks ago and incorrectly assumed you couldn't have both installed at the same time.

Just to confirm terminology from this thread - we've mentioned 3 things
  1. cargo cover - the piece that is extended horizontally to hide contents
  2. partition net - rises vertically to "stop" stuff moving forward from the back of the vehicle
  3. luggage compartment net/cargo net - a mesh net that attaches to the 4 tie down hook attachment points on the luggage compartment floor (see fig. 86 in diagram above)

US A4 allroad come with the "storage package" standard:

Storage packageStandard
Provides additional space for storage, including:
  • Storage net in front seatbacks
  • Driver's side storage
  • Lockable glove box
  • Luggage Storage Network with net & straps in luggage compartment

This is represented as PR code QE1:
QE1 Storage package

But what's odd is it seems the factory installed cargo net (8W0 861 869 B 9B9) is only included with QE1 for 5C0 (ECE safety standards) and for 5C1 (US safety standards) + 0LC (Canada). The netting referenced above would refer only to the net on the cargo right side panel (yes, that net is an option) in the case of the US, it would seem. For the US, there is only the cargo net accessory (8W0 065 110): https://www.audiatlantaparts.com/p/A...8W0065110.html Whether or not your dealership tosses one in for free (or more likely one of those extraneous line items) would be dealership specific.

Right. I was specifically talking about what you are calling the partition net. It was featured in the video that was attached near the top of this thread. Now that I know I have one I'm wondering if or when I might actually use it LOL.
