"BRAKE LIGHT" message?!

"BRAKE LIGHT" message?!
I just spoke to the dealer and they said that this message that comes on in the dash info console is caused by a bad ground or socket. Note that this isn't the red E-brake light or the one with the paranthases around it. It's the actual message. All my brake bulbs seem to be on though. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

have someone step on the brake for you... so you can see where all the lights are.
since i dont remember what year car you have... it makes it that much simpler... and just double check all connections to the light housings themselves..
