Is this the "buzzing" that everybody complains about from the VDO boost gauge?

9 years on my VDO boost gauge, no buzz....
I use the vinyl tubing instead of rubber. I don't know why some buzz and others don't. They are a cheap gauge though. I sent back the first two due to defect..the needle was off mark on both.
