Default $100 for fluid change by machine, and rotor replacement. fair price?

price includes dot4 brake fluid, i'm providing a8 rotors.

i'd do it myself but I'm no longer allowed to work on my car in my garage (community association is a bitch)

Default Wait

You can't work on YOUR car in YOUR garage? WTF? Is the community association gonna pay for all your labor now?

Default technically, the association rules say that no car maintenance is to be performed on the property

which includes the garage. it ALSO states that the garage is to be open for entering/exiting only.

We've been working on cars in the garage for the past year +, with no complaints. Then, when it was time to part out my A4 and we were working on cars every weekend for a month straight, we got a nasty complaint letter from the board saying that we were in violation of community rules (true) and that we were a nuissance to other community members (total BS).

Too bad the person who filed the complaint never talked to us first. Pisses me off to no extent... I'm sure it was one of our stupid neighbors with nothing better to do.

To top it all off, our direct neighbor (with whom we share a wall) has undergone rennovations for the past 6 months straight, and they will continue for at least another month. Blocked driveways, excessive noise, etc... and yet there's nothing we can do about it.

BTW, beejohn and I are roommates in case you were wondering.

Default You two are making no sense.

The garage is required to stay closed. With the garage closed, who is looking in to see if you're working on the car?
