$2200 over invoice + $145 for prep
for an order on a 2001 A4 Avante + 3 packages. Is that consistant with others in NY state? Anybody in the Northeast get a good deal on an ordered 2001? I am determined to get at the most $1700.<p>- George -

I bought mine at Langan Motor in Schnectady. Never paid a "prep fee" for my 2001. Sounds like hogwash.<p>Ed from Troy

Yes I mean I will pay $1700 over invoice.
That's what I thought about the prep fee. He said it had to do with the extra cost of the plastic wrap and things like that.

Talk to Eric Pinnel over at Langa Motorcars at Schnectady...
Very straightforward person to talk to. I'd suggest making an appointment so you can talk to him in person. I *think* he may do $1700 above invoice, but no guarrantees (although I'd say it's a 85% likelyhood). I can't say what kind of deal he'd give you but try him.<p>Ed from Troy
