My explanation:
a turbo uses exhaust gas pressure to spin a turbine to compress air.
a super runs a belt off the crankshaft to spin a turbine to compress air.
We won't start as to which one is better.

superchargers are more efficient. The hp gains from 7 lbs of boost are greater than turbos creating twice the pressure, now let's argue over wear and tear!!!!!!! and lag!!!!!!!! and maintenance!!!!!!! and install difficulty!!!!!!
