i have sylvania silverstars... seriously... haven't seen a bit of difference

nah yellow ones maybe? i ran those until friday when i put my white ones back in

I saw thesilverstars on Wal-Mart but at $20 a bulb, seemed a little steep

Those are blue tinted - they steal some of the lumens for intensity for the "white" look.

Default Correct I saw more difference with the Silverstars in low beams than my fogs and...
my fogs seem more blue and less brilliant, but still better than the OE Osrams. Keep in mind the bulbs were bought 1 1/2 years apart at two different parts places . Both are Silverstars, but they have Sylvania and Osram ,domestic and foreign sourcing so these can vary .

Default I wouldn't use silverstars as fog lights
They are actually -worse- in foul weather. You want something yellow for the fogs, at least a regular halogen. Don't get silverstars or other 'white/blue/hid look' bulbs.
