replaced my cracked cat today...massive difference... where is that E46 M3 Im hungry

Default no a couple of possible reasons...
1. Weak welds (first gen cat)
2. Exhaust not set properly... There is some preload on the cat to downpipe interface i plan to relieve tomorrow

Also the core had become loose so it was moving around inside the cat. The new cat was designed to address these issues
