Default 01 A4 1.8T vs. 01 BMW 325is

How do these 2 cars compare stock vs. stock? I have an 01 1.8T quattro sport 5-spd and my coworker just bought an 01 325is auto. Considering these factors, would it be a close race "stoplight-to-stoplight." I only ask cause he's starting to sh*t talk(in a funny, competitive way)and I want to know what I'm getting into before I embarrass myself and never hear the end of it! I'll be installing an APR chip w/Abt filter & exhaust as soon as I get my 1st oil change, then his auto 325 should be no prob, but in the mean time... do I stand a chance? If not, maybe I'll hold out for another 500miles! hehe**

Default I would think you will win since he has a slush box

I was driving my car in stock mode this weekend adn was surprised how quick it still was. I think a cat back exhaust is very noticable in a non chippped car.

Default Not that I'm the best driver on the road...

...but it'll be close. I recently got spanked at a stoplight confrontation. Lost by less than a half a car length.

Default May want to wait until after oil change anyway

make sure there aren't any factory nasties floating around in the engine.

I think you'll win since he's got an auto
