Try flushing the heater core. If that doesnt work, you could try a stat but I usually notice the gauge will move off the center mark down hills. If nothing else the core is bad, check some of my other posts about no heat. The heat only when moving is what some of them do when the core is bad but when they are like that usually a flush solves it. And Its not air dude. If it hits redline even a few times there bled. I do this for a living, I have NEVER had to bled a heater core after doing service, a drive with a few high rpms and heaters nice and hot.

Well I did like you said I used the little hole on the rubber hose connected to the heater core while car was running i left the hole open until coolant came out of it and now I have heat consistently just not really hot but it is better then it was thanks man
