once chipped you need a roll cage to run at the track because its hard to keep it out of the 11's. If you don't get a good launch maybe low 12's.
Seriously though high 14's low 15's.

it isn't international to the automotive community and it also requires a vag com. While 1/4 mile times don't say everything about a car's straight line performance, they still do tell you which car is faster after a 1/4 mile has passed, and can even tell you how fast it will likely be above this.

plenty of cars can accelerate in a straight line at impressive rates on dry pavement. I say shoot for a more interesting number... quarter mile times on snow or gravel. Mix it up a bit... this drag racing ish is as old as nascar and thats a totally inbred motorsport of the worst sort.
Lateral G capability and handling are just as important ingredients as acceleration... Oh and lets not forget braking... going fast without good brakes is a darwin award in the making.
Fvck all that... I'd much rather spend my time tuning brakes and suspension to achieve a serious chassis configuration. I'd much rather have the best 100 to 0 time than the best 0-100 time.
